Tuesday MBK discovery!!

I have been so excited to go to yoga in Bangkok and with a little encouragement from sis Katy I went!!
I was nervous because this was my first time to try hot yoga...
I of course had to have coffee first and ordered a "skinny" banana nut muffin (is there such a thing) but the order was lost in translation and look what I got... Looks like I am going to really really need that yoga class and like I might throw up during it!!
This is a pice of bread with mushrooms and a ton of cheese... Oh dear!

A lot of you know already that my stomach has a problem sweating... This is my sweatiness just walking to the yoga place!

 Adorable!

I am the largest person there including the 2 men, the only American, and the sweatiest person BY FAR!
I drag my mat all the way there to find out they provide their own, I am so nervous!
I am the only newbie for hot yoga in the class! We are all doing a forward bend thing and we come up and I look at myself (unfortunately there is a mirror on every wall) and am as red as a beet in the face and look like I jumped in a pool! I glance around and everyone else looks totally normal!! No sweat and not red at all!!

This is a picture of me afterward... Go ahead and study it hard yes I look like it has rained on me, yes that is all sweat, yes you can also see my sweaty back in the mirror behind me!!! YIKES!!

I head back to the hotel getting strange looks from everyone... Note to self bring something to change into next time!!
Time for lunch and shopping!!
Bad picture but Yvonne showed me a place to have sandwiches in Emporium

We have to change to the second BTS line to get to this mall!

BTS train time to the MBK mall (bargaining), we were able to sit down on the train which is very rare!!

MBK!! I am picturing an indoor dirty flea market but it turns out to be really nice!!

Look at these cell phone covers!

These cell covers are out of control!!

Yvonne and Judi both got some bling for their iPhone!

Purses purses everywhere!

The treasures I ended up getting...
Swim suit cover up (very wrinkled)
~NOTE ABOUT BANGKOK: a lot of places don't let you try things on so you just have to hope it fits!
Longchamp bag to carry all my treasures in!

  1. I love the Yoga experience ...I just wish I could see some of the positions! Ha! Isn't it hot enough in Thailand without doing Hot Yoga? I have heard it gets rid of all of your toxins:) Keep the food photos coming ...it is very interesting and gives us ideas:(
