Saturday Muay Thai

Saturday around 4 we headed to Limpini stadium to watch Muay Thai!

We heard it is best to get ringside seats, it wasn't very crowded when we got there so we were able to sit in the second row!

These are trainers or something that are cheering bug time and seem to be yelling helpful things.

The guy in the box outside the ring is the judge, there is one on 3 sides... The fighters are doing their pre fight dance around the ring! It was really cool! They had music that plays while they are doing their warm up and music during each round. I thought it was a cd but when I was walking around I stumbled on a little band!

I don't know why there is a sign saying ladies don't touch the stage, maybe it's bad luck or something...

They could kick really high!

Each match (9) consisted of 5 rounds...between each round they would pull out a silver tray with a stool and pour water all over the fighter.

Afterwards we went and ate at a delicious Thai restaurant Lemongrass - a fast favorite!

Yes there is more food... This is Pad Ka Pao (I think). It was really really good!
