Tuesday 4.24.12

Hot yoga try #2~ I wore a gray shirt this time so you couldn't see the sweat but my face is as pink as my headband!!

Don't really enjoy mirrored elevators, they make sure you know what a mess you look like and are awkward to ride in... (Emporium elevator)

Time to get ready for the AWC luncheon at Gaggan...
ran out of hairspray and this is the only kind I could find at BOOTS... I hope my hair doesnt end up like the lady on the bottle.  I love BOOTS!

Indian fusion...
turns out I really don't like Indian food!!

yogurt speriphication (what does that mean) with mango chutney...
looks like an egg tastes not good in my opinion (have had flashbacks all night of the awful taste)...
you chew on these sugar cane sticks...???

some weird thing with bubbles
(if you want to know what it is click the link and you can look at the menu)

the bubbles were weird...

duck's liver raw foie grasI (on left looks like candy) and cooked
I am starving by now!! This is not my cup of tea!!

soft shell crab~ I can handle this!!

this is one of the main dishes (small) mushroom rissoto I think...

this is my main dish fettucini with salmon...

an egg in curry... uh not yummy to me...

pita and I don't know what but it looked kinda ok and I was starving!
although looking at the menu it says something about mutton... this better not have been mutton!!!!

this is the chef speaking about how we should come at night because it's even crazier dishes
(thanks dude but not for me)

2 choices for dessert couldn't even understand choice 2, heard chocolate and said yes.
It was good but it was teeny!

other dessert with silver on top...

Afterwards I went with Yvonne and Kristy to JIM THOMPSON outlet!  I got a fun beach bag and little thing to put my camera in!!
Jim Thompson is a famous EXPAT who started the silk industry here.  Google him if you would like more info.  He mysteriously disappeared...

Judi let me borrow this book, it's supposed to be about the "interesting" aspects of Bangkok.

I am in charge of inputting menu choices for the Gala so off to work I go...
