Saturday we headed to the Nana area to eat lunch and go to Raja's to get John a tux and suit made!
Monsoon
chicken with cashews
Chicken with oyster sauce
The toilet paper here (sometimes they don't have any) and sometimes it is very thin tissues thinner than kleenex!
soi 8... I like this soi!!
tons of power lines everywhere!
Food stalls everywhere that can be wheeled around. The funniest is to see a food stall attached to a motorcycle driving down the road!
Thai's love all kinds of fruit juices!
they sell tons of stuff on the street!!!
Raja's!!
Beer for while you pick out suit styles...
John looking at the shirt fabrics
John ended up getting 1 tux, 2 suits, 5 shirts and 2 ties for a good price!! So fun!
example shirts
We popped in a bar next door for some good people watching!!
haha happy hour about all day~ 65 baht is like $2 haha
tons of ugly power lines...
John and I bought another pair of glasses off the street!
Saturday night we attempted to eat Mexican food at a place near ASOK BTS stop called Los Cabos...
After taking forever to find it...it's closed!!!
So we head down ASOK to see if there were any restaurants... NO just creepiness! That is John up ahead sometimes I get a little side tracked with picture taking :).
note to self~ ASOK (at least where we were) a little creepy at night and nothing open!
So we head to Terminal 21 of course to try to find food...
No luck here, we decide we are in the mood for wine and pizza so we catch a cab to WINE CONNECTION!
This is that cute little area I have been to with the ladies a couple of times! It looks so cute at night and John has never been here so works perfectly!!
We sit outside and have some pizza!
Then pick up a couple of bottles to take home! Fun night!!
****Happy Birthday to Barb my loyal blog reader!! I hope you and Pawpaw have a great time celebrating your birthday! Love y'all and miss you!!! (It is your birthday for me when I am posting this) :)

ReplyDeleteFinally got the blog in my email. It sure was delayed for some reason. We had crawfish this evening. I took a picture of Dick eating his crawfish for you with my phone, but now I cannot text it to you. I do not have a connection to put it on my computer. boo hoo Anyway, we enjoyed the crawfish and that was my real birthday celebration. Now we are home relaxing and watching the Astros. That was a very interesting blog. I am getting a good look at the city, shops, and malls. You must do a lot of walking! BT
