O' Christmas Tree
We decided to get a real tree!! We headed to Lowes and picked a little tree (you can tell by how big Rufus looks next to it)!! This was John's first real tree!
Thanksgiving 2011
We spent Thanksgiving in Mobile. Blake came to visit us and we had lots of fun!
We bought the turkey from The Shed and it was delicious!

Stoneridge at Somerby
Our new apartment and first home together!
Rufus loves to go on walks around the apartment. The complex has a lot of land and it's own Bark Park! The apartment came furnished and was set up with everything so it was an easy move.

John's new job
After the honeymoon we headed to California for John's new job at Chevron! The headquarters are located in San Ramon so we are able to visit San Francisco!
We spent about a week in California before heading to Mobile, Alabama where will be living for the next 6 months.

Honeymoon Highlights
I realized we never put any pictures from the honeymoon on the blog. I have not been keeping up with posts and promise I will be better from now on. So here is some catching up...
We really enjoyed our hotel in Turks and Caicos The Windsong. We were so lucky that the reef was right in front of the hotel for easy snorkeling every day. We saw tons of beautiful fish and a Barracuda!! It was a very relaxing trip! Hurricane Emily threatened to hit while we were there but it ended up fading away and was not a problem. Some of our favorite places were Da Conch Shack, Somewhere Bar and Grill, and Coco Bistro. We promised to go back on our 10 year Anniversary!
