For lunch we ate at Billion Beef, thai restaurant again in the shopping center.
They have coke zero, I don't see Diet Coke (CocaCola light) very much. This is my water that is made by Coca Cola.
These are YUMMY spring rolls (oops we already ate half before I took the picture). We both had chicken fried rice.
Running around the Emporium Department store... American stuff is SO expensive here. I went to ZARA also and it was expensive. Nine west, Kate Spade and a lot of other brands are about double the price.
Purse and shoe floor!!!!!!
John and I LOVE to go to the movies! At the top of the mall/ place we eat every meal is the cinema!! It was WONDERFUL!!
We saw Chronicle and it was really good!! Here are pictures from the theater area.
The popcorn (one of my favorite things to eat) was DELICIOUS!! You could get BBQ, and lots of other flavors but of course I picked SALTED!! AND the food and drinks were so cheap in the theater unlike the US, we got a large coke zero and popcorn for like 150 baht- $5!!!
We had a little bit of a hard time buying our tickets, but we figured it out. You have assigned seats in the theater! 12:45 show
Restroom sign above the toilet... so people don't use it as a squat pot.
Later Sunday around 6 we met with David and Anne (John and David are on the same type of rotation and they are finishing their round in Bangkok) at Starbucks. It was late so I wanted a Chai tea and they didn't have it so I tried Green tea... it is apparently Japanese Green Tea and I thought it was really yucky.
Anne and David told us about a secret area in the food court, we tried to eat there but it seemed a little overwhelming at first... so of course we ended up back at the big foot court area at BURGER KING!
Anne told me that RYAN GOSLING and EVA MENDEZ are staying at our hotel!! I am going to FLIP OUT if I see them!!
And now off to sleep so John can be rested for his first day or work!!
Again, not a crowded mall and everything looks so sparkling clean! I think you are in a good place. Are you adjusting to the time change?? Hope so. BT
ReplyDeleteThe malls are the place to be (lucky me!!)!! I am adjusting to the time. It is weird that we are starting a day that y'all haven't finished the day prior to, but I am getting used to it. It is apparently a really safe place!! miss y'all!
