John was off today for Makha Bucha Day! Simart (our driver) took us to The Big C so I could find a cell phone and for some other goodies. The Big C is like Walmart and was very entertaining!!

my new phone!! It doesn't work great but I can kinda see facebook, get email (it is sorting by date and the email that popped up was from '07), and send texts to John and call John...and other local numbers.
We went back to the hotel for a bit and then went to Terminal 21 (the mall). This was John's first ride on the sky train!
The mall has an airport theme and each floor is a terminal that leads you to a different place For instance Istanbul, Tokyo, San Francisco, London, etc...

John loved the Pepsi- they didn't have diet.
John got some ice cream (less then a dollar) he got chocolate chip and cookies and cream.

I finally cooked spaghetti (in a wok) and it was AWFUL. The sauce was good but the noodles were terrible.
Love the Karaoke! I didn't see any of our typical Walmart shoppers...Ha! Love all the adventures! Rufus is doing great! love you Mom
ReplyDeleteThe big C..very colorful and HUGE. Entertainment looks pretty good! What an adventure in eating. I don't think you will ever get bored there. We are fine again today. Two days in a row...no complaints. HA We will have a very soggy weekend here with rain. Your weather over there looks great. BT
