Week of August 17th- August 26th

Here we are at our temporary home in San Ramon, California! Just 5 minutes from John's work!
~John is loving his new assignment in San Ramon! He had a great first week of work!!!
First stop (after In-N-Out burger...) Target!!!
Some things I have dearly missed...
Miller Lite, Dove soap, English labels, and normal milk!!!
John is pooped out!!!
Saturday we ran around with a wonderful Realtor looking for a rental property!!
The weather here is shocking- mid 80's clear skys, and no humidity!!!

We were about to start paperwork on option 3 and then this house popped up!!
We went to see it Friday afternoon and they picked us to be the renters!!!!
This is our new home starting Sept. 8th!!!!
WEDNESDAY:
I met with Janet (friends with Renee from Bangkok) and we had a great lunch and she showed me around San Ramon and this adorable shopping area with Anthropologie and Francescas!!!

Thursday coffee and new fun with Instagram discoveries!!!
THURSDAY:
Farmer's markets with Anne!
and sushi lunch!!

John and I had Thai food for dinner!!!

FRIDAY:
Dinner with Anne and Dave!
(John works with Dave- they are on the same MBA rotation program.
(We replaced Dave in Bangkok and now they are heading from their San Ramon assignment to
Mississippi where we were for our 1st assignment!! Funny stuff...)
SATURDAY:
Drive up Diablo mountain to Diablo State park! Very pretty!
Only took 45 minutes to make it to the top from where we live!!
