Around 3 am Wednesday morning my parents headed to the airport for their trip back to Houston.
We thought we had a good plan to communicate but what we didn't plan on was their flight being 8 hours delayed!!
Luckily they got to the airport in time to make a Delta flight at 5:40 am (supposed to be United at 6 am) so that they could connect in Tokyo and stay on schedule!
I was frantically trying to page them through the airport (no cell phones is not fun) but this was one of the times where things are really lost in translation! I am so so glad they didn't have to sit in the airport all day!
Meanwhile...
I head to yoga and I think I might be getting sweatier. This is from NON hot yoga! ugh...
Steve, Tammy and I went to have lunch (the place doesn't allow pictures) and then headed off to save a table at the Australian Pub for the 2nd State of Origins rugby game!

Abbey, Steve and I walked to Soi 8 afterward to meet Abbey's friends who had also been watching the game.

Party Hearty! We partied yesterday, but it was a little more casual. Jimmy and I fried fish and potatoes downstairs, and Cathy brought coleslaw and watermelon, and Jesse brought Kobe to play with Cooper. It was fun watching the dogs. It was the first time they ever met and I think they liked each other a lot. They were in and out of the water, retrieved and wrestled on the slab most of the afternoon, and finally got tired out around 5 p.m. Anyway, wish you could have been here....but looks like you are having fun every single day and night. Katy brought Dick a great grandfather card from Jack! :)) Dick enjoyed the day and I did also. Everybody left around 6 and we were in bed by 9. We were tired, but got a good night's sleep. Thanks for the post. You are looking great. It must be good clean living...haha.
