Day 5 our last day before Berkeley
It is about 7:30 am here, and we are about to leave. We will be driving through Big Sur, Monterey, Carmel, and Pebble Beach. We will be staying the night on Monterey Bay. We are planning on eating lunch in Big Sur at a place called Nepenthe. You can google it, it looks really really cool. It is in the 50's right now, but it is supposed to warm up.

Today sounds like a full one with lots of interesting places....it is fun to follow your adventure since I have never been to any of these places! You guys are great at blogging and very entertaining!!!! Love Mom
ReplyDeletePaw Paw said that you should pull over on some of the scenic areas and look down at the shoreline, especially where it is rocky. When we were there, there were hundreds of sea lions sun bathing down below. I remember having quiche and mimosas on morning as we watched the sea lions down below. (we were in the big motorhome at that time).
ReplyDeleteYeah we saw them, they were sunbathing and were really funny. We have been pulling over so much that it took us 7 hours to get to Monterey today. It is beautiful!
