We went to White Sands National Monument and it was awesome! As far as we could see were white sand dunes!!! It was definitely worth the detour."The Thing" was not worth stopping for, it is hard to put into words but basically it was a bunch of old junk that used to be "the thing". For example old cars, old sewing machines, old sorry but crap they made us walk through 3 barns looking at. It was strange.
